How to apply

It is important that all sponsorship meets our objectives and also the objectives of the organisations that we work with. This webpage outlines the requirements to apply for sponsorship from Christchurch Casino. 

Sponsorship Objectives

Through sponsorship of our community we aim to achieve these three main objectives:
• Drive awareness of the Christchurch Casino Brand in the Community and to our consumers.
• To help reinforce our corporate responsibility objectives within our community and organisation.
• Help to support and facilitate community organisations objectives.

Key points

We suggest a number of key points to be included in your application, these help us to process your request quickly and fairly, they are as follows:
• A comprehensive list of benefits and opportunities to Christchurch Casino, our customers and the community.
• Six week’s notice, as a minimum, is required in attaining sponsorship.
• The highlights of the opportunities involved.
• An overview of your marketing plan (If applicable).
• How the sponsorship will positively promote the Christchurch Casino Brand.
• An explanation of the organisational ‘fit’ between Christchurch Casino, your organisation and the target audience that will be communicated to through the sponsorship.
• A list of any other sponsors involved and/or opportunities offered is also suggested.

We recognise that all requests have their merits, and while it would be wonderful if we were able to sponsor them all, this is simply not financially viable. Instead we choose to take on a smaller number of sponsorships and focus on creating the greatest benefit to the involved parties.

Once we have received your application:
• It will be vigorously and carefully assessed by us against a list of criteria and the amount of resources required from us.
• A response will be given as promptly as possible, but often due to the number of request that we receive, it may take up to two weeks for a response.
• Please take note; due to the number of applications we receive we are forced to decline many more applications than we are able to grant.
